WORKSHOP TRANSMOGRIFIED
Originally offered as a 9-hour, 3-part online workshop
with Letterform Archive in 2023, in 2024 Letter Quest
transfigured into a full-fledged in-person experience
at the School of Design and Creative Technologies
in Austin, TX.
CAST OF CHARACTERS
The event is an alphabetic adventure, in which attendees
make twenty-six letters in response to narrative-based prompts—
like revealing hidden letters in the environment
and crafting new drawing tools.
Attendees made character sheets, fought (cute) goblins,
scoured a shipwreck, went shopping at the bazaars
at Cap Height City, and conquered their lettering inhibitions!
