Mound City Catalog
Designed for Mound City, an exhibition at Laumeier Sculpture Park. The exhibit honors the Ancient Mississippian metropolis of Cahokia, the largest city in North America in AD 1000.
Split into three sections (intro, exhibit, and essays),
the catalogue lent itself to a unique binding method evoking archaeology in its layering. These layers reference both the physical mounds and the complex historical, political, racial, environmental, and artistic issues discussed within
the book.
